With the latest coffee craze at the moment being the single serve coffee makers, the two heavy weights in the industry are hands down, Keurig and Tassimo (made by Bosch).  They both use single serve coffee cups, Keurig using the K-cups and Tassimo using the T-discs, making them both easy to use with minimal clean up.  That being said we’ll take a look at the two best selling models to-date of each brand and see how each of them fair.  So how does the Tassimo T65 (TAS6515UC) stack up against it’s rival the KeurigB60?  Let’s start by taking a look at the features of the Keurig B60.

It has a 48 ounce water reservoir at the side-rear of the machine so that it with regulardaily usage, doesn’t have to be filled up every other day.

The Keurig features 3 brew sizes; 5.25, 7.25, and 9.25oz

The K-Cups not only have a different coffees blends, but also have a variety K-Cup teas, as well as hot water for your tea bag

Tassimo T65 (TAS6515UC) Features:

  • Single-serve coffee brewer brews at the touch of a button in about a minute
  • Uses T-Discs with barcode technology; beverages pour directly from T-Disc into cup
  • No measuring, no fuss, and virtually no cleanup; customizable size and strength
  • LCD display; 67-ounce removable water tank (without water filter); 1 MAVEA water filter included

No need to worry about the amount of water needed to brew your coffee, the T65 brews with the touch of a button, and in about 1 minute.

The Tassimo T65 uses its own single use pods called T-discs.  They have a barcode on them which tells the machine exactly how much water it needs, and how hot the water should be.

Comes with a HUGE 67 oz removable water tank to allow for maximum use without the worry of having to fill up the tank

Conclusion

Based on the over all versatility of the machine our over all choice goes to the Tassimo T65 (TAS6515UC).  That’s not to say the Keurig B60 is a slouch, not by any means.  If we had to recommend one, again, we’d go with the Tassimo.  If you’re going to purchase one be sure to visit amazon.com  They offer the lowest price anywhere on the net.
